HKM Caribbean Beauty Of the Month- Cheray Moucphison
Click here to see photo shootJamaica, with its beautiful white sandy beaches, has some of the most precious Black women in the Caribbean ("all Caribbean women are precious of course"). When you think of Jamaica, you often think of Bob Marley, Reggae music, Dancehall, and Ackie with salt fish. Beautiful, brown and brunette women do not often come to mind first. However, this small Caribbean island has some of the most tantalizing women in the Caribbean. They come in all shades --dark chocolate, brunettes, brown, peach black, mustard black, and fair skin-- as you have seen on this site before with Kay Ann Taylor ( Miss February) and a number of contestants from Miss Tropical Paradise Swimwear. Now is your chance to meet Cheray, Moucphison , a native of Jamaica and former U.S army soldier. She is as sweet and pleasant as pictures.

The first time we met Cheray was at Temptation Club in Brooklyn, New York. As soon as she walked across the stage in her miniscule bikini with her caring mother by her side, both males and females in the room stared at her with envy, as if she was a forbidden fruit.

Cherry is 19 years old, and is currently enrolled at Queens College pursuing a degree in Fine Arts . In her spare time Sherry likes to model and go out to her favorite night spots in New York City... Click here to view phot album

Wyclef Jean honours 200th anniversary of Haiti's independence

Wyclef Jean honours 200th anniversary of Haiti's independence

TORONTO, July,6,2004--There's a Haitian proverb that says: "Mize nan wout, pote bon nouvel," which means "You may take your time, as long as you come home with good news." Sak Pasé Presents: Welcome to Haiti Creole 101 is the album singer and activist Wyclef Jean has promised for many years and he is spreading the good news with joyous sounds that exude his Haitian pride. "Haiti was the first Black Republic to gain independence from slavery and since 2004 is the 200th anniversary of this victory, I thought it was the perfect time to highlight our rich history," says Jean.

Since the mid 1990's when The Fugees garnered international fame with
their critically-acclaimed CD, The Score, Wyclef has been cultivating the idea
of a musical tribute to his homeland. "I've been working on this Creole album
for a while," explains Jean, "but it took me some time because I have been
mixing different types of music together over and over again. Whether someone
speaks English, Spanish, Creole or French, I wanted them to hear the music and
feel like it's one fluid piece." .. full text

Controversy Erupts Over Gracia Delva

Gracia Delva update:

Miami-Gracia Delva did not host the pre-party of "The Second Annual Haitian American Festival" as was advertised by G-family and FishSkale Entertainment production. U.S immigration authorities would not grant the artist permission to re-enter the U.S after he ran in trouble with the law last year.

Contrary to what many fans and Haitian media personnel's believe , G- Unit and the rapper 50 Cent had nothing to do with the show. Abner Louima, the victim of NYPD's famous sodomizing torture case, was one of the principal investors of the " Haitian American Festival". Louima was pushing to have U.S immigration authorities revisit Cracia's files so that the artist in question can attend in the festival.
