Annual Haitian Compas Festival magnificently celebrated Haiti’s National
Flag Day

Miami, Fl. - May 18, 2002 - Noel and Cecibon Productions, Inc. proudly
hosted a show-stopping event in Bayfront Park on May 18, 2002. This
year’s festival featured all of the top Haitian performers and musicians
of the year. CaRiMi, T-Vice, Kompa Kreyol, Zin, Nu-Look, Djakout Muzik,
Mizik Mizik, Kdans, Haitians For Life (HFL) and special guests Black
Alex and Michael Benjamin, made history as they performed for nearly
20,000 onlookers.
For
four consecutive years, Noel & Cecibon Productions has strived to
bring to the forefront of South Florida, an active day full of excitement,
surprise and intrigue. Working hard all year to provide the public
an amazing experience, which they can store in their memory as another
fascinating occasion.
They
succeeded once again this year as Haitians from across Florida, New
York, Boston, Canada and even London came together to celebrate Haiti’s
Flag Day in full force. Thousands of blue and red flags made an ocean
of enthusiasm as concert goers waved them in the air as the Haitian
National Anthem played.
For
those who were unable to attend personally, www.sakapfet.com, provided
them with a first class ticket, as the entire event was broadcasted
Live on the World Wide Web, from 5pm until 1:20am, along with Radio
Carnivale, which also transmitted live feed via 1020AM radio, people
from all over the world, got a glimpse of the days happenings.

Music made an impact on Saturday, it showed on the faces of the attendants,
from the smiles of the fans, to screams from the crowd, May 18, 2002
was truly a success.
