PRESS RELEASE Haitian-Klick Family Management It is with deep regret that H-K Family announces the death of rapper Jean Desir, a.k.a. “Dyce”. Desir of Westbury, along with fiancée Sophia Bretous, perished in a fatal car accident Monday night in Long Island, New York. H-K Family extends their condolences to the Desir and Bretous families. It has been a very difficult time for their families as well as for us, but the outpouring of support from the public, the Haitian music industry, and the Haitian community has provided us with a source of comfort. We thank all well wishers for keeping the Desir and Bretous families in their thoughts. The essence that was Dyce lives in his music, and his spirit lives in all those who loved him. H-K Family plans to immortalize Dyce’s contribution to our hip-hop family by keeping his love of music alive. We plan to dedicate the rest of this year’s group performances and our first CD in the memory of Jean Desir, our beloved rap artist. Memorial arrangements for the young couple have not been finalized at the time of this press release.
