CREOLE CHAPTER, New Album by Guitarist Jhon Clark NYC-
"My Croele Chapter" is the name of guitarist John Clark Parent's new
CD.
My Creole
Chapter features nine different tracks, with a strong emphasis on a powerful trilogy,
Konpa, reggae, and hip hop music.
Jhon Clark is certainly no rookie in the music business. He has been performing
regularly with the group Lakol and King Kino ("Move Move"). Having
worked on project with Tantan, Nu Bazz, and many other local bands in Petion Ville,
Haiti. Jhon strives to achieve musical balance with his debut album by drawing
on his experience as a musician. His styles and towering voice may surprise some
critics. "I
have been around music all my life, I grew up listening to great music in Haiti.
It was always my dream to produce my own album. I think "My Creole Chapter'
expresses my experience as a musician", said John. " Every artist has
a way to express himself or herself. I wanted to do something different with this
album by mixing different rhythms". Tashoo,
one-off single features on the album, showcases Jhon versatility and talent. The
song is bound to generate the most attention, especially the innovative music
video ( "in term of Haitian music video standards"). On
Tashoo's music video, Jhon Clark and friends team up with director Zarab Cabanast
to bring you something different and fresh.
